Thank you for all that braved a winter snow storm and the global endemic to come to Leland to participate in our Invitational. Big congrats to Tracey Taylor and Yvette Wall for beating Vicki Muffley and Pricilla Chambers for the Gold and to The D’s (Donna Kendall and Darlene Jackson) for battling back to win the bronze.
Start off the New Year with a special invitational, the First Annual Mojo Pickleball 4.0+ Ladies event. Held at the House of Pickleball in Leland NC, the weather in January WILL NOT be an issue! Come prepared to battle the best 4.0+ teams in the region…and win fabulous prizes!

By registering for this event, you are indemnifying Mojo Pickleball and it’s affiliates from any harm or injury that you might incur during the course of the event. You fully understand that Pickleball is a competitive sport and requires intense stamina to play, especially at this high level. Upon arrival at the HOP, if you haven’t played there before, you will need to sign their waiver, give a drop of blood and sign a DNR order. Ok, the last two things aren’t accurate, but everything else is. Let’s Go!
Invitational Information:
Saturday: Arrive at the HOP by 4:30pm, to register and get ready to take the courts at 5pm for warm up, until 5:20pm when round robin play will begin. This play is important as it will provide your seeding for the tournament on Sunday. This will be a great day, with you playing A LOT of matches in a fun format. Tiebreakers for seeding will be in this order: Win/Loss Record, Point Differential, then Head to Head Play. We will be playing with the Franklin X ball.
Sunday: Double elimination tournament, Winners bracket will be one game to fifteen, win by two. Opportunity bracket will be one game to eleven, win by two. One time out per team, per game. (If time allows, the Gold Medal match will be two out of three, play to 11, win by 2.)
Fees: $69 per person, which includes: Entry fee (court costs for both days) for round robin and grand tournament, healthy snacks and drinks both days, commemorative custom limited edition long sleeve Mojo Pickleball performance t-shirt, and most important, some fancy awards for the top 3 teams.
Event Cancellation (you): If for any reason you are unable to attend the invitational and you voluntarily withdrawal from the event, AND it is within 9 days of the date of the event, you agree to forfeit your entry fee and any/all privileges that would have came if you attended the event.
Event Cancellation (us): If for any reason we are unable to hold the event, you will be given the choice of a full refund of your entry fee or you may choose to keep your spot in the future event and “roll” your entry fee into the next one…your choice!
