Pickleball Lessons
Welcome to the start of your Pickleball journey! I currently give lessons at the following locations: MLK, Legion Stadium and the House of Pickleball.
Whether your a beginner or someone looking to fine tune their skills, I work with all ages and skill levels. Don’t have a paddle…no problem! Not in the best shape…no worries! Need some tips on how to beat your friends, learn how to hit an ATP, get single strategies, or just want to be a better pickleball player…I gotcha covered! My fees for Pickleball lessons are: Private Lesson $60 per hour. Two students, $40 each. Three students (play with Mojo), $30 each. Four students, $25 each.

Types of lessons offered:
Pickleball 101 (private): This lesson is for anyone wanting to learn to play pickleball; you only need the desire to learn, Mojo will take care of the rest! This special 2 hour lesson will cover the following: Rules and strategy of Pickleball, foot work, serving, return of serve, 3rd shot drop, drives, and dinking an opportunity to play WITH
Where: MLK, Legion or House of Pickleball
When: Upon request, 2 hours
Who: Anyone with a desire to learn how to play pickleball
Fees: $75 per student (includes HOP court fees if inside)
Group Lessons – $50 per student for (up to 4 students per lesson)
First Five: This series of lessons will be around the first 5 shots in pickleball. Understanding the strategy around each shot, placement and execution will be taught. 5 one hour lessons in a week to tighten up your game and help elevate your pickleball play!
Where: House of Pickleball – Leland
When: Upon request, five, one hour lessons
Who: 3.25+ players or higher – 5 students
Fees: $140 per student (includes HOP court fees)
Note: Better if all students are of the same age/rating
Three & Me: This lesson is an opportunity to play WITH Mojo who will provide immediate feedback and tips. Mojo will play with each of the three participants to work on strategies and decision-making tactics in real time. Shot selection, court positioning and general strategy are covered in this hour lesson
Where: House of Pickleball – Leland
When: Upon request, 1 hour
Who: Anyone with a desire to learn how to play better pickleball
Fees: $30 per student (includes HOP court fees)
Note: Better if all students are of the same age/rating
Singles Anyone? This lesson is for anyone wanting to learn to play skinny or regular singles. Mojo will not only teach you the core skills needed to win your single matches, but the strategy of “why” and how to THINK quickly on the court.

Great experience and thorough instruction. I love that Mojo focuses on game IQ and will individualize sessions to meet your needs. Highly recommend. BTW, be prepared to be “Dinkled” during his DinkyRoo game :)

Todd is an excellent and insightful coach who uses methods tailored for quick understanding. In my first (free!) lesson with Todd, I gained techniques that I could apply immediately, as well as initial groundwork for more advanced shots. I look forward to more lessons and am excited to see what progress I can make with his help!

I had my first lesson with Mojo today. I learned a lot about all aspects of the game. One in particular was serving. My serve has been weak and I’ve tried different techniques, but I couldn’t figure out how to get a strong serve. Mojo gave me two suggestions and immediately my serve improved. I got home and was so excited about what Mojo taught me that I practiced my serve over and over again until I was exhausted. If he can fix my serve that easily, I’m excited to see what else I can learn from him!Mark Werbeach
Had my first lesson with Mojo today. He is great at making you understand the reasoning and strategy behind everything you learn. In one lesson I took away at least 5 fundamental changes I want to work on. He takes his time making sure you understand, offers great visuals to help, has a good sense of humor, reminds you that saying positive thoughts about your game leads to a better quality of play. Two friends and I had a great lesson with Mojo today! I think I am now re-programming myself to think like a PB player instead of a tennis player. My first lesson was a very fun and informative experience. I learned things that immediately improved my forehand drive, my serve and attacking the ball at the net.
